King’s Ransom — restoration in progress.
Known around the shop as King’s Ransom, this 1968 Shelby GT500KR convertible is a current restoration project at Carolina Streetcars. Its red body, white stripes, and white convertible top give it unmistakable Shelby character.
These first photos show the car outside the shop and inside with the engine bay open. We’ll add more photos as the work progresses.
